"God yes!!! I was in Tescos yesterday and although I wasn't in a particular hurry the amount of people just stopping dead in front of me, doubling back, taking up the whole aisle with their trolley and family etc was really grinding my gears!!! "
It's often two large families with trollies, stopped to chat at the bottom of the escalators, blocking anyone from going up or to the side where it's also narrow. Or two people side by side on the escalator, stopped and not allowing anyone to walk past them.
It doesn't bother me, but consideration for others is always in my mind as a natural way of life. |

In the super market I'm terrible. I get so angry when people just stop in the middle of the aisle or right by the bit you need and talk.
I probably wouldn't mind if I actually enjoyed shopping but I hate it so I like to get in and out as quick as possible.
Walking down streets I don't usually mind as you can pass.

Rude? I commented on it not being the best place to stop and have a conversation and was promptly shouted at with threats to f*cking smash my head in, or words to the same chilling effect. |

Those who dither in shopping aisles, on escalators, or on pavements, etc are probably the same eejits who drive in the middle lane of a motorway for miles and miles, completely unaware of the chaos they cause!
Or what about the people for whom you hold the door open when you leave a building, who just swan out and don't even say Thanks!
Or the families who have to slow down a checkout queue as they pay for their items; can't 1 or 2 deal with it and have the rest wait nearby and not block others at the adjoining tills?
Or the dimwits who having packed their goods away in countless bags in their trolley, then take ages fishing out vouchers, and coins one by one or can't decide which debit or credit card to use, whilst everyone waiting behind loses tge, will to live!
GRRRRRR!
Shooting them would put less strain on society! |

I'd rather spend my time with my wife/kids/friends than behind some arsehole that doesn't know what direction they are walking. Oh and for these pricks that wait in a queue at the cashline only to get to the front before looking for their purse and bankcard. |

Why hasn't this thread being based on supermarket aisle rage!?!??
You all know what I'm talking about, you're trying to do the weekly shop with as little pain as possible.
But no! Mrs smith from number 6 decides to block the aisle completely whilst deciding which chicken she's going to buy, then somehow ends up on every aisle at the same time as you repeating the same scenario!!
Ooooh hob nobs or digestives this week you hear her debating.
Just get out of the bloody way Mrs smith!!
And breathe
Ahhhhh that's better |

Lol, yes, that does irritate me - dawdlers always come in twos and threes it seems! "
Maybe supermarkets should have Slow and Fast lanes marked out on the floor! |

Could you trust eejits to use the lanes correctly? |

"Anyone else get this with slow walkers ... I mean come on stop dawdling !!!
What's the hurry? "
When you do a 12 hour day with nearly 3 hours travelling on top and missing a train because loads of people are dawdling about, there is a reason to hurry...
People always stand in the narrowest places, stop at the top or bottom of stairs and escalators and don't bother getting their tickets/ oyster cards out until they have blocked a turnstile...

Must be the same Mrs Smith who I always used to come across on a Sunday doing the weekly shop, she is the reason I do it online!

Not so much slow walkers but people in Lobdon who stop at ticket barriers to get their oyster card out and then stop the other side to put it away. Surely you can do this while walking?
And anyone who stops at the end of an escalator! |

Phone zombies indeed! It's so annoying when I'm trying to get out of the uni library to a lecture and having to be behind another student texting on their phone, walking at a slow pace through the barriers and I'm unable to get pass... |

I'm awful for this. I'm on crutches and most people walk slower than I do. It's infuriating. I have snow and ice grips on the ends of my crutches and half the time I'm tempted to jab people in the back with them to make them hurry up. |
