The first single/record i bought . I heard it on the radio today and still think its great.
What was your first record and do you still love it or loathe it .

Not my first record but the first one given to me by my other half, he was working for a well known music publication at that time and we were dating, and he presented me with a white label copy of the Stevie Wonder record 'If it's Magic', never released in the UK as a single so very precious to me.

I bought the Chicken Song by Spitting Image
I'd gone shopping with my big sister... I still think she should've stopped me from doing such a stupid thing.
On the same day she bought Rock Me Amadeus by Falco... I wish I could say that had been my first ever record, not the fucking stupid Chicken Song. |

The first record I had bought for me was Leapy Lee's 'Little Arrows' I was Five. I always assumed he was American. Just Googled him, He was from Eastbourne and his name is Graham Pulleybank! Another illusion shattered
First album I bought myself was Aladdin Sane and I still have it

the first CD i bought was Gina G - 'oooh ah just a little bit' and on the same day i bought the Smurfs album.

yellow brick road still a great album was the first CD i ever bought back in the day !!!...how cool were cds when u had been used to albums and cassettes to think you could pick a track and just play it ....... |
