Good morning dears,
Today, I'm feeling very happy. I received a gift from my friends Girlfriend, a little belated as my birthday is in March but I'm absolutley blown away by it.
She gave me a book, that she had made for me. She designed the front cover with a nod to my favourite series of books and it's beautifully bound. The pages inside are blank, ready to be filled.
I'm so touched by the thought that has gone into this, it combines two of my passions fantasy and writing.
I'm interested to hear about presents that you've received where the thought really has counted.
Peace to you all. |

"I thought about getting you something but I couldn't be bothered.
Still, it's the thought that counts right?"
It is the thought that counts, and that means I'm in your head. |

"She really likes you
I could have tell that you love writing
She's my friends girlfriend, that could be awkward.
Is that because I ramble? "
Haha no but your profile is actually very well written, and it sounds like you love reading from the choice of your words |

That's really cool. I like that gift. Sounds like she put a lot of love into it.
My favourite ever gift is from my sister. A locket. Inscribed with the dedication- 'Dozy Tart' |

My son has autisum and has to do work experiance to show his capability to do work. He wants and does garden landscape now and two years ago was on a placement at a garden nursery. One day we was sat looking at books on roses together. I said " i love roses, roses of every colour and a rose named after pease, love, rememberance, passion, hope , and birthdays" .... 6 month later it was his last day there. He worked so hard. The boss said, " you did so well i want to give you something as a thankyou" ...
It was two days before Christmas and i was also waiting for the big c results.
In came my son with every rose i wanted...he remembered what i said six month before.... And i cried and cried like a baby. They are all in my back garden now. Its a memorial garden ( i rescue and foster animals so alot are cremated and buried out there) It meant/ means the world to me 3 xx |

Don't mind me, just a little something in my eye.
Every part of that is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. |

That is so thoughtful.
Lucky you to have such dear friends.
I received a beautiful pen from a good friend last year as I too write.
Only problem is I am afraid to use it in case it gets lost.
I lose everything.

I am very lucky.
I'm actually looking at pens for a present at the moment. After a discussion recently a friend of mine said he wanted a nice fountain pen to use for meaningful things but said he need to achieve something in his life first.
His first child is born in August so I'm buying him a fountain pen to commemorate it.
