All of the above, plus sometimes I delete purely to free up space in my inbox. If I've been getting lots of action from my fbs and don't need any more meets, there's no point in trawling through 100s of messages every night! I can then just find and reply to my real fab friends. |

If there's no icon to show there's pictures attached to the message and there's no public pictures on the persons profile then I just delete the message without opening.
Always look at the profile before opening the message anyway and if they are under 5'10 or any hint of being attached then I'll also delete without reading. |

Depends what mood I'm in. Sometimes my tolerance to shit introductory messages is at an all time low and they message me before I hide my profile. So I just delete.
Then I always get a message telling me what a skanky whore I am who thinks she's way better than everyone and it's people like me who ruin the site for everyone else.

We tend to read first. But instant put off are only photos of the guy in profile as well as no photos of the guy on photo. A huge list of demands for meets usually consisting of things that don't float our boat. And when it comes to single guy profiles ones that have photos of women and very little of the guy. |

Other things that make me delete..
Height. First thing I check. It's in my profile!!!! Secondly, some type of profile text. If you can't be arsed to make the effort there, I'm not bothering to read the message. Text speak and meet now/fancy a fuck also get the boot.

"It sometimes winds me up when you read through someones profile properly, you look at the pictures to see if you fancy them and you have similar interests.
So you put a lot of effort into a message a not just a one liner, even using a word in the suject box that they've asked you to use, include face pictures instead of cock pictures and it does'nt even get read.
Fair enough if you don't fancy someone i can understand that, im not vain enough to expect everybody to fancy me, or if you dont like whats in the message fair enough, at least you've read it.
But to delete without reading.
I dont get offended, its just that you feel its a waste of time.
If you went up to someone in real life, you probably would'nt rattle on for 20mins without letting them get a word in.
Just my thoughts anyway
I always reply to messages when it's apparent that someone has put effort like that into a message, even if it's a polite no thanks
This! I try my best to reply to polite messages. A guy sent back 'thanks for your superficial reply' the other day tho. Lol. "

I do make the effort to reply, even if it is to say 'no thanks'. I appreciate that it takes effort to write a message longer than four words and that guys get disheartened when they get nothing back. However, if you are really interested in meeting someone, then you need to make that effort. I only delete without opening or after reading without responding, if it is fairly obvious that the guy has either not read or not taken my profile on board and messaged me inappropriately. If I have said 'no' however politely, I do dislike it when I get 'pestered' afterwards, and will delete and even block as it is pointless getting into further conversation. |
