I have often thought that I would like to get involved in politics in some way, but icant help feel that my time on here and on fet have become a bar to rising in any political party, mind you my lack or intelligent thought might be a bigger prob!em lol

Has being on here ever bared you or made you think twice about doing something?

John Whippingham culture secretary, did okay.

The problem is not your private life, but the hypocrisy of standing for family values as a politician.

We need a few more politicians who can stand up and say they enjoy swinging, as currently it is seen as a bad thing.

Cheating on your wife or husband is fine, (too many to mention but heseltine / keays and major / currie spring to mind as proven cases) but God forbid you should both spice up your life.

The British have a rather unique view that politicians should be whiter than white. For me the only qualification is will you be good at the job and work in the best interests of your constituents. Sadly the majority of people who vote would probably choose the useless family man over a swinger who was an outstanding politician.
