I know a lot of threads leading up to the Euro's were mostly Anti Rooney, I for one wasn't one of them and I think he's been Man of the Match in both games for us , he has been Superb

Now, normally I am anti-Rooney.

But he played a great match.

Maybe his Grandma was in the audience?

It's certainly looking like a good decision to play him in midfield. I think any captain can get a better perspective and have more of an influence from there.

I was very anti Rooney, but he certainly had a better influence from midfield and dictated play well. I'll happily eat my words

Cannock

Hope Roy starts next game with the same team that finished the game today. Rooney looks much better playing deeper and pinging balls about from the middle of the field and feeding Vardy and Sturridge.

Kane and Sterling should lose their places in the team they were both crap in the first half.

True but they're still not playing balls to Vardy like he wants and needs

Yeah I would have taken Drinkwater in the squad for that very reason as him and Vardy have an understanding at Leicester City.

Only criticism of Walker is his final ball and crossing needs to be better. Up and Down that wing like a racehorse though.

wasn't impressed that Drinkwater was left behind when Sterling has had an average season..

hopefully he wont start him again..

I would have taken Drinkwater instead of Milner, He will surely go to the Qatar world cup though as it will be essential to Drinkwater during the games

I see there's an online petition to bring Raheem Sterling home.

"QUOTE: "Let's face it we're all sick of seeing this idiot mince down the wing and fail to deliver a half decent ball into the box."

For just a measly sum of £200, you can bring England winger Raheem Sterling back home from the European Championships in France. Ah, the joys of modern technology.

Sterling, who has failed to impress in the tournament thus far, has received a fair few critics in recent days but someone has taken his lack of flair one step further than the rest.

I think it was saying he'll be starting on the subs bench.

To be honest I've not seen what he's actually done that's really impressive. We've faced 2 sides that have sat deep and he's had tonnes of space due to that, to play simple balls or a slow Hollywood ball to the wing (which I hate as its rarely effective). When he makes a pass like iniesta did for Spain's third against turkey I'll be impressed or controls the midfield against a Spain, croatia, Germany or France
