jeremy vile, i think people go on for the 15 mins of fame, plus the free bar and hotel,he is a arsehole but he gets well paid for being one, and in the past the betting shop takes their slice of his wages, just to thump him in that smirking face would be worth the fine and criminal record, as you would also be a tube hit |

His show is the UK equivalent of "Jerry Springer", the type of banal Reality television which has been dreamt up by some TV expert.
If it wasn't him heading up this show, it would be someone else. He's simply the frontman, the public face for what passes as appalling Television!
To redress the balance, he is, away from the TV Screens, he has the reputation of being one of the hardest working show business personalities, raising lots of money for charities.
In my career in Hospitality, I have met him twice, and his TV style is far different from reality. |

He lives around the corner from me and drinks in our local. As much as I hate his show, he's actually very polite and talks to you when your see him.

He gets paid to say to skanks what most middle class people would like to say to then (i.e get a job). These are people that politicians basically deny that they exists - "oh everyone that can get a job does" - and every day we see evidence to the contrary. |
