you in the yes camp or the no camp?

I'm in the yes....the way i voted last time was a process of elimination as i could not select one party

this certainly works for me and the argument from cameron that "we will be shaking up a system that has worked for decades" is not strong enough to sway me.

this past general election has proved it doesn't work

I would very much be a yes person... spoken to my mum in london, and it is the same system they use to pick the mayor....

Any chance they had of winning the vote i suspect probably went with the student fees vote.......

So the options are to change a system that is flawed for another system that is even more flawed championed by a party that has no other way of achieving enough of a sizeable share of the vote to put their guy in No.10?

I'll say 'no ta'.

who says this system is flawed?

it's process of elimination...makes sense to me

even mother nature approves of de-selection

It's flawed because it never achieves a 100% turnout at elections which means the party that gains the most votes usually represent less than 50% of entire country.

But it's undemocratic to force people to vote, so it's a flawed system.

ok, well, that's not about to change...however, the option to vote is there and you either use it or lose it.

if you chose not to use it then you are all but agreeing that the rest of the nation can vote on your behalf. your 'vote' is not to.

however, that aside, a system is still required, for those that do want to exercise their democratic right
