" I'm sat on a sit and there's a car parked up with some kids in it. Obviously here to spoil any fun. Why do they do it? "
Do you mean that the general public aren't allowed on these sites normally? I thought it was the other way around .... they have more right to be there than the diggers ... |

Car in a car park with kids in. You've concluded it's there to spoil swingers/doggers fun lol.
Fab or swinging/dogging aint the be all, end all for all. They might not be awre swingers, doggers use it. It's always possible it's just a regular family using a car park . |

I think if we use the phrase teenagers instead of kids . Then we can discuss the fact that teenagers are arseholes who enjoy spoiling things for others .
Thats what teenagers do .

The driver has to be 17 , the age of the passengers can be of any age .

Maybe you could ask the local council to put signs up saying 'people fuck here after 9pm' or something? That way your activities in public places won't be rudely interrupted by.... erm.... the public?!? |

Doggers don't have a 'right' to be there though, that's what's so funny about this thread. Once they're engaging in sexual activity in a public place they're breaking the law which is at least on par with 'deliberately causing a nuisance'

Isn't that what teenagers do? They live with parents so go somewhere in a car for some alone time. I know I used to do that as a teenager. They may of course have heard it's a dogging spot and wanted to see what goes on there. |

Doggers do have a right to be there and are not deliberately being a nuisance to others by shouting abuse or driving round the car park like a maniac. And doggers are not having sex the whole time that they are on the car park and usually go out after dark when other members of the public have gone. |

I love the implication that it was a council provided dogging site that happened to have a public car park. |

Fucing doggers. We just want a place to park up out of town to have a mess about in our motors that we've been tinkering with all week and there's some dude in the shadows with his cock out!
Works both ways.
Sure, enjoy dogging but accept that it's public space. |

We love dogging , and certainly aren't cheapskates .
We enjoy the outdoors , the people we meet ( not just those we play with ) , the not knowing what may happen , the spontenaity , the control we have , the ability to move around with no rules and regulations and so much more . It's so liberating .
As for washing facilities , we have all the washing equipment we could possibly need .
We can take pics , and film our fun to our hearts content .
And finally , those people we meet while dogging are not in the slightest bit up their own arses , they are non judgemental and range from travellers to barristers and everyone sees themselves as equal .
Quite a bit could be learned from the liberal attitude shown by us doggers , especially by a few on this thread .

Sec in public is not illegal, however, dogging is dodgy clandestine activity (which I quite enjoy now and again)
So it's a bit rich to be complaining that someone else also engaged in a different kind of dodgy clandestine activity is getting in the way of yours!
And it's interesting that they weren't donutting round the car park and swearing until someone said they every right to be there. |

Actually, if you're dogging you can be arrested which you are well aware of. Now ask why you can be arrested. Because you could be breaking the law.
Teenagers sitting in a car in a public place are not breaking the law.
Therefore, those who are in the wrong are the doggers.
Simple when you look at it right. |

The only circumstances under which is might not be possible to prosecute you would be if you can prove you took sufficient steps to ensure that no one could see you . This is hardly likely to be the case at a dogging site .
A conviction for indecency and bring thought of as a peeping Tom has no appeal to me . |

I think unless people have been dogging they won't know what sometimes happens when cars full of youngsters turn up. They are not there to enjoy watching or joining in with the sex between consenting adults, they are there to spoil that fun normally by making a nuisance of themselves so that consenting adults will stop doing what consenting adults do so this I think is what the OP means rather than....I want to have sex anywhere I want and other people shouldn't be there.
To be fair though, I am surprised that people have not realised this going from how the dogging activity is described....or maybe I am not so susprised as it seems to be the way of the forum lately. If it isn't what people are into, then any posts about it are twisted or shot down.

I think the point that most are trying to make is that doggers aren't entitled to be there either. For example... you're on a long journey and you pull into a car park for a cup of coffee and a bit of a rest, a load of doggers turn up and spoil your nice rest, exactly the same as kids turning up and spoiling you're dogging sesh. Public places are there to share, if you want guaranteed privacy rent a field or something |

I suppose many people have personal anecdotes and should be entitled to their opinions based on their feeling towards the dogging community .....
For me the problems arise when inconsiderate doggers afford their own needs priority over the rest of society....
There is a notorious long-established dogging location not far from me which has remained active even though a horse riding school for kids was opened right in the midst of the location....
To me that now makes it an inappropriate location for dogging...

You are missing the point and which is happening a lot on the thread. I am guessing if a man turned up wanting his cuppa would not be there just to spoil doggers fun, you would be there to have your cuppa.
As to doggers are not entitled to be there either, they are, just the same as the man with his cuppa or the kids out to spoil their fun. |

If it was a discussion on how dogging can sometimes spoil life for other people then my answer would have been different. "
I'm just simply unpacking my own thoughts without intending to enter either side of any debate on the subject..

"I think unless people have been dogging they won't know what sometimes happens when cars full of youngsters turn up.
Stop the press, people have different kinks than each other
I think the point that most are trying to make is that doggers aren't entitled to be there either. For example... you're on a long journey and you pull into a car park for a cup of coffee and a bit of a rest, a load of doggers turn up and spoil your nice rest, exactly the same as kids turning up and spoiling you're dogging sesh. Public places are there to share, if you want guaranteed privacy rent a field or something"

Here's a good explanatory article regarding the legality of having sex in public and the Police approach to those who indulge. You may be surprised.

"There are no,to my knowledge, official dogging sites,it's not like camp sites.
Go somewhere else, somewhere less conspicuous, away from the general public and prying eyes."
From the same article;
"Also taking a softly-softly approach to public sex is Brighton council, which recently received a number of complaints over cruising in Dukes Mount park. Officials reportedly suggested that The Greenery, a notorious gay cruising spot in the park should allow bushes to grow between 15ft and 20ft tall to afford privacy to outdoor fornicators."
Oh....and apparently they are not 'Dogging Sites'. They are Public Sex Environments or PSE's |

I'm not sure anyone has missed the point.
Simply put, diggers and youngsters in cars are both using secluded spots to take part in an acitivity they enjoy away from prying eyes.
I do t imagine for one minute that a bunch of teenagers sit outside McDonalds and think "I know, let's go to that picnic site and get in the way if the dogging"
They're just using a public space for their own recreation during a quiet time when general members of the public will not be there.
And as such, as mentioned above, the OP is displaying quite a sense of self entitlement that he believes he has more right to be here than they do and that his activity is somehow more legitimate than theirs.
And many on the thread are simply saying "hold on, your no more entitled than they are"
No point has been missed. |

In the five and a half years that we have been dogging , we have never once offended anyone .
We go two or three times a week , and are as discreet as one could possibly be .
Going back to the op , the teenagers , and anyone else who chooses to to go to a public spot are just as entitled to be there . It can be frustrating when it's obvious the teens in their cars are clearly trying to wind us up . But hey ho , that's life . We normally move on for a bit and they go . And to be fair it's only a few that do this . Most are up there to have a smoke , or just hang out .
We are used to the moral majority of swingers judging us for doing what we do . What may surprise them is how many swingers we have met while dogging , and how many have added it as an interest after meeting us .
Since we can't accommodate , our car , or an outdoor spot becomes our meeting point . There aren't any clubs within an hour of our location . So we often arrange to meet fellow fab members outdoors .
Done with respect to the general public , there is no reason why dogging should be slated . |

Well said it's surprising the variety of people you can meet while out dogging, ive been going on and off for about 15 years now.
Have encountered some bad times though with boy racers ragging it round the car park and aiming fireworks at people and cars.
Genuine doggers cause less trouble than any youths you see in cars.Thats just my experience though |

"I know what you meant OP....normally when a car is full of youngsters are parked in dogging sites it isn't normally because they want to go dogging, more to gawp or to become a nuisance
Do you think there are other members of the public who thinks doggers are a nuisance? I would think that most people do. Why dont they just go to a club like everyome else does or are rhe just cheapskates
Maybe they prefer dogging?
Why would they be cheapskates?
" Surely most people are judgmental in life . People make decisions based on status , education , looks ,personality , achievements and a wide variety of other factor .
It could be argued that you need to be judgemental in order to survive .

That's what I'm saying, there is no such thing as official dogging spots.once any place becomes known it will attract all sorts of folk for a nosey or to disrupt.
Best to arrange dogging with like minded folk, away from places the public is likely to go,tell no one,and if it is to be repeated, choose another spot.
Going to so called known dogging areas is always going to attract undesirables. |

That defeats the object and isn't what dogging is. Dogging isn't pre arranged normally.
I think I may be talking with fork tongue today so will try and clarify. Known dogging spots are not designated dogging spots.Nevertheless they are used and known to be used by doggers.
Once people find out about them they are then open to being targeted by some people. Hopefully that is better explained but if not, I give up |

Over the rainbow, under the bridge |
People are allowed to be in public spaces.
Are doggers? As long as they are not committing an offence.
However, having sex in public could be deemed an offence so doggers know they run that risk.
They consider the risks worth it as that's there thing.
Teenagers who turn up do so to wind the doggers up. What they are doing is not an offence.
But they do it because it's their thing.
Neither has MORE right to be there than the other as long as they stay within the law.
Doggers complaining about being caught out or annoyed by teenagers? That's the risk you run. Just be grateful it's not the police turning up. |

True, but reading the OP he was just assuming that's what the teenagers were doing, he had no proof.
I'm sure it's most frustrating when you want sex & some pesky kids show up whether it's on purpose or not, it's the chance you take though.
And I'm sure back in the day when I was a bored teenager I would have found it quite entertaining to piss off the *perves by turning up.

Offences that could be committed in a 'public sex environment'[PSE]
1. Outraging public decency contrary to common law
2. Behaviour that is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to other users contrary to the Public Order Act 1986
3. Offences of exposure - if the person exposes themselves to someone intending that someone will see them and be caused alarm or distress
4. Sex in a public toilet (Section 71, Sexual Offences Act, 2003)
The above applies to England and Wales although there are some similar provisions in Scotland and Northern Ireland
It's a complicated issue. Outdoor sex in the middle of a forest is clearly at the other end of the spectrum from sex on a crowded beach. But both can be interpreted as sex in public places.
The ACPO guidance focuses on those who stumble across it as well as those that indulge in it. "The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS)… is committed to making PSEs safer for both users and those who happen upon them when going about their daily business."
PSEs can be dangerous places where rape, serious sexual offences, serious assaults and robbery take place and go unreported. Sites used exclusively by men - such as public toilets - have historically been policed differently to cruising and dogging sites, aided by a different set of legal rules. Police action has often been triggered by public concern.
"PSEs are complex environments and the use of them for sexual activity is an emotive issue, which is more often than not exacerbated by negative stereotypes and prejudicial views," reads the guidance.
"It is our responsibility (with our partners) to make such places safe places for all users, and prevent and detect crimes. It is not our role to act as moral arbiters; we must enforce the law proportionately, firmly, fairly and in an even-handed way."
Chris Ashford, professor of law and society at Northumbria University is currently working on a book exploring the law's relationship with the public sex, entitled Public Sex and the Law: Silent Desire. There are, found Ashford, significant differences in the approach to policing public sex in different parts of the country.

Remember, it is not illegal to be present at a dogging or cruising site. The police would also be overstepping the mark if they asked you to leave.
If you take reasonable steps to ensure privacy, particularly as you're not there to outrage others, it's also not likely to be breaking the law if you have sex.
The police have been known to give out hot beverages and biscuits at cruising grounds. Thus doing the opposite of harassing and arresting people there for sex.
They are interested in deterring trouble makers though and making arrests where yobs have caused damage and harassing users. For this reason I would be wary of groups of guys who are potentially not in such spots for sex - I'm friendly with everyone but caution is sometimes needed.
Remember, sex outdoors isn't of itself an offence in UK law. Nor is being present at a site known for sex hook-ups. Even if carrying condoms. Lube etc - that's your right and not the business of the police. |

"Is the inside of a car a public place? "
You could probably claim that under Article 8 of the Human Rights Act that your right to privacy had been infringed as the complainant would have had to approach the vehicle and look in to be able to see anything/something that offended them. And it would depend on other factors - time, location etc e.g. 3pm in Asda car park would probably get you a severe telling off at least from the local constabulary
But I'm only guessing |

"How about my front room? With the curtains open?"
The LNP test would probably be applied to your actions:
Is it Legal: Yes. It is legal for consenting adults to engage in sexual intercourse.
Is it Necessary: It could be argued that it is to demonstrate love/affection/intimacy or to exercise your right to a family life [Article 8 again].
Is it Proportionate: It depends??? Location [of you in the front room and your house]
Someone would also have to lodge a complaint.
I must add that my only legal qualification is an ability to read And all this is merely my interpretation of stuff I've read today |

"Doggers do have a right to be there and are not deliberately being a nuisance to others by shouting abuse or driving round the car park like a maniac. And doggers are not having sex the whole time that they are on the car park and usually go out after dark when other members of the public have gone. "
I bet that doesn't look creepy at all |

We probably need more areas that are officially sanctioned clothes optional places - not all of them beaches. It's legal to be naked, as long as your intentions are good, just as it's legal to be at a dogging spot, having sex in public (if you're not intending to offend others and take reasonable steps to have privacy).
We're still a bit too prudish, a remnant from religious doctrine. |

It doesn't look creepy at all , no .
It's a group of people chatting , having a smoke , and hoping there may be some action .
No more different to a club , except there aren't lots of pissed up people doing exactly the same thing !
Ok , I get the hate brigade who think sex in a public place is wrong as innocent members of the public may see it . But if one waits till after dark , and takes care that no one who doesn't want to see is subjected to it , it's great .
Sex outside , under the stars , with an appreciative audience - we love it |

Do you find the guys that go dogging are more respectful than club going single males?
I have to ask because, I figured if you pay to go to club you want to get your monies worth. But since dogging is free , a guys expectations are lower... |

Guys fully respect the fact that they must wait to be invited when we go dogging . Which is often not the case from our experiences in clubs ..... |

Dogging is pretty much self-policing, with anyone exhibiting unwanted behaviour being turned away and made unwelcome. You can take selected acquaintances away too, if you'd like more freedom.
In club public areas you can still have the leering hopefuls tugging away, sometimes edging in to a bunfight encounter. |
