I know which way I'm voting but that's between me and the ballot box. I've come to my own conclusions about the balance of probabilities of what's best for the country and nobody on a sex site forum, or Twitter, or Facebook, or anyone with a 'vote leave' or 'vote stay' banner in their garden will influence that.

I will say what I *think* will happen but this doesn't necessarily confirm or deny my own personal position on the vote, but I think at the key moment those 'undecided' voters will, in the majority, vote for the devil they know rather than the devil they don't and vote to stay.

Most people are 'risk averse' and vote for what they know even if not ideal.

I may be wrong - we'll know in a couple of weeks!

This isn't just for Christmas guys..I cant get my head around why we would do something as selfish as vote to leave. Its not just an overnight process to cut ties with the EU. It would take up to twelve months for legislation to be drawn up, and ratified. Putting on hold any pending legislation that other countries may need to be urgently looked at by Brussels. All the major financial powerhouses have forecast a down turn in trade, industry, manufacturing..why would you ignore that? Any border controls at Calais currently operated by UK border control with permission by the French Government, would be closed and would have to relocate to Dover...and Nigel Farage..

"8 days to go and my country will not be a part of the, EU."

You want people to vote leave and you don't even know the process to leave?

If the UK votes to leave the EU there will be an exit process that will take at least two years and may well take us up to the next election as the UK negotiates its exit terms. Get ready for more anti EU hysteria when the EU fulfils its promises of not offering a country that has left the EU better terms than those who remain. Expect no change in EU migration unless the economic shock is so great that the economy goes on the slide and then there is the question of the single market which we are not of course voting to leave but which is linked to cost and the free movement of people. As certain Fab members on here have said - they are voting out purely on the "immigrant" issue which presumably means that they will also be wanting to exit the single market or expecting the EU to offer the UK more favourable terms as an outsider than as a full member.

My view is that the UK will vote out, but I don't think it will come to that in the end as realisation of the actual consequences dawn over the coming two to three year.

I wonder how many realise that a vote to leave does not mean that we will leave the EU?

No matter how we vote the vote in parliament is the only one that counts.

However a vote to leave will destabilise the government and may force a vote on no confidence in them triggering a general election.

That presents a quite interesting, possible, scenario.

Imagine this.

Brexit wins the referendum which would make Camerons position untenable. He refuses to resign and Labour propose a no confidence vote. They get the support of just enough Brexit Tory's and force an election.

I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but wouldn't rule it out either.

No matter our opinion I think voters should possibly look at the question in reverse. Ask yourself if you would vote to be joining the EU today? If the answer is yes then vote remain, if no the vote leave.

I think so too, and tremble at the consequences when people realise how little change other than more economic hardship it brings.

I also think that people like Boris Johnson are recklessly throwing the dice and expecting to be able to negotiate a better deal with the EU on Brexit. Boris doesn't want to leave the EU at all. I think he misunderstands or is willfully ignorant of the motives of many on the Brexit side and the anger of the remaining EU states.

I started out on the leave side but recently I'm a persuade to vote remain. The EU isn't perfect by a long way but I'm now convinced Brexit is well disguised a power grab by a collection of neo liberal aristocrats who are pretending to have the interests of the working class in mind.

Firstly I am voting to remain and sincerely hope this will be the case.

Unfortunately I can see the same situation as with the so called once in a generation Scottish Referendum.

The losers won't accept the result and will begin to campaign for another referendum as Nicola Sturgeon has indicated for Scotland although not until she and her SNP colleagues are certain of winning.

I am voting in. The leave campaign have nothing to back up on and are very weak. No wonder they blame the in campaign for being on top.

If it is a exit, the day after the country will turn on itself as they realise what a huge mistake they did and there will be unrest for decades to come, then scotland, wales and Ireland want to become independent, Great Britain as we know it, wont be the same.

Just think in 20 years time and your grand children who are all part of the republic of Europe with 1 single monetary, political & taxation system come and ask " Could you have done anything to change this?"

You'll be able to say "yes, but we quite liked the idea of short term comfort at the time so didn't do anything"

Can you tell which way I'm voting?

"The Sun Newspaper came out in favour of the Leave Campaign yesterday.

If that isn't an incentive to vote REMAIN nothing is.

Whatever the vote outcome the sleaze, hypocrisy and corruption of our ruling classes will remain.

I was undecided until yesterday

Absofrickenlutley!!

I was swaying but now I'm a definite remain. Unfortunately, so many see that rag as the political bench mark

Me and my daugher was saying just the same yesterday, if the sun wants us out that's good enough reason to stay

For what reason. "

What the real reason I'm voting to stay or the reason the sun wants us to leave makes me feel its a bad idea

Unashamedly pinched from a poost doing the rounds on Facebook....

Here are a few that strongly believe the UK should remain a member of the EU:

• Governor of the Bank of England

• International Monetary Fund

• Institute for Fiscal Studies

• Confederation of British Industry

• Leaders/heads of state of every single other member of the EU

• President of the United States of America

• Eight former US Treasury Secretaries

• President of China

• Prime Minister of India

• Prime Minister of Canada

• Prime Minister of Australia

• Prime Minister of Japan

• Prime Minister of New Zealand

• The chief executives of most of the top 100 companies in the UK including Marks and Spencer, BT, Asda, Vodafone, Virgin, IBM, BMW etc.

• Kofi Annan, the former Secretary General of the United Nations

• All living former Prime Ministers of the UK (from both parties)

• Virtually all reputable and recognised economists

• The Prime Minister of the UK

• The leader of the Labour Party

• The Leader of the Liberal Democrats

• The Leader of the Green Party

• The Leader of the Scottish National Party

• The leader of Plaid Cymru

• Leader of Sinn Fein

• Martin Lewis, that money saving dude off the telly

• The Secretary General of the TUC

• Unison

• National Union of Students

• National Union of Farmers

• Stephen Hawking

• Chief Executive of the NHS

• 300 of the most prominent international historians

• Director of Europol

• David Anderson QC, Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation

• Former Directors of GCHQ

• Secretary General of Nato

• Church of England

• Church in Scotland

• Church in Wales

• Friends of the Earth

• Greenpeace

• Director General of the World Trade Organisation

• WWF

• World Bank

• OECD

Here are pretty much the only notable people who think we should leave the EU:

• Boris Johnson, who probably doesn’t really care either way, but knows he’ll become Prime Minister if the country votes to leave

• A former Secretary of State for Work and Pensions who carried out a brutal regime of cuts to benefits and essential support for the poorest in society as well as the disabled and sick

• That idiot that was Education Secretary and every single teacher in the country hated with a furious passion for the damage he was doing to the education system

• Leader of UKIP

• BNP

• Britain First

• Donald Trump

• Keith Chegwin

• David Icke

So, as I said, if you can’t be bothered to look into the real facts and implications of all this in/out stuff, just pick the list that you most trust and vote that way. It really couldn’t be more simple.

And if you are unsure about leaving, don't.

"

However a vote to leave will destabilise the government and may force a vote on no confidence in them triggering a general election."

thats not happening.... all a no confidence vote will do is get cameron to fall on his sword sooner....

there will be infighting in tory party.... and who wins that will become pm till 2020...

there wont be mass defections from the tories to ukip because if that happened you would let in a left sided rainbow coalition (Lab/snp/pc/greens/sdlp)

the more interesting question was if a leave vote happened... if there would be any very pro european tories defect to the lib dems.....

Is there a full prospectus somewhere of what the eu plans are for the next 30 to 40 years ?

It would be good to be able to read in black and white exactly what they hope to achieve in that tone and what countries they are planning on adding to the EU.

Because all we seem to hear is what both sides assume it will be like and no hard and fast facts from the EU committee.

They seems to want the uk to stay in the club without telling everyone what exactly they will be bringing in next and in the future.

And expect people to just accept that they know what is better for us

I don't like the way that Osbourne has threatened an emergency budget with a view to increasing taxes if the 'out' vote wins. He was unable to answer the question put to him on Radio 4 this morning about how he would be able to do that given that 57 Tory MP's would vote against it.

Vote Leave to get out of TTIP.

Read the EU five presidents report to see where the EU is heading in future. It wants more integration, more political union, more monetary union, more countries to join (Turkey, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Serbia) more free movement of people, bigger EU budgets which means an increase in our EU membership fee and an EU army which would mean British troops serving under EU generals.

But if we stay, things won't stay as the are. Cameron had already demonstrated that he has very little negotiating power so given that he agreed to a referendum in the first place isn't going to make the other EU leaders take what he says seriously so the EU could change a great deal and affect us even more negatively than leaving. The status quo here is not an option.

Ordinary people will vote on their own experience, as John Mann said on the Daily politics programme today the working class are having their own conversation on this EU issue which is different to the politicians, the bankers (who caused the global crash in 2008), and the the big rich corrupt corporations and the tax dodging multinational companies who want us to stay in for their own ends.

The same corporations you quote for support. Being outside the EU doesn't change economic reality. Cost of trade for uk companies and living costs for British individuals rises. The rest of the world including the EU are unaffected and will be quick to limit any instability to the UK.

It's actually the majority of small businesses and entrepreneurs who back leaving the EU. Plus ex governor's and ex director generals like Mervyn King (bank of England) and John Longworth (British Chambers of commerce) who are no longer on the government/EU payroll and who can speak more freely as a result.

Moving the European Parliament back and forth from Brussels to Strasbourg? Huge waste of European taxpayers money and I think it exemplifies the ridiculousness of the EU. It is farcical how they can be so frivolous with taxpayers money in that way.

The EU cannot be reformed in any meaningful way, surely David Cameron's pitiful attempt at renegotiation highlighted and demonstrated that perfectly.

"Is there a full prospectus somewhere of what the eu plans are for the next 30 to 40 years ?

It would be good to be able to read in black and white exactly what they hope to achieve in that tone and what countries they are planning on adding to the EU.

Because all we seem to hear is what both sides assume it will be like and no hard and fast facts from the EU committee.

They seems to want the uk to stay in the club without telling everyone what exactly they will be bringing in next and in the future.

And expect people to just accept that they know what is better for us

Read the EU five presidents report to see where the EU is heading in future. It wants more integration, more political union, more monetary union, more countries to join (Turkey, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Serbia) more free movement of people, bigger EU budgets which means an increase in our EU membership fee and an EU army which would mean British troops serving under EU generals. "

Exactly! Europe will become a republic ran by the unelected.

Me and my daugher was saying just the same yesterday, if the sun wants us out that's good enough reason to stay "

I was already remain but this pushed it over the top as anything Murdoch wants I'm against. (I'm well aware The Times wants to remain but that doesn't follow his political stance as much as the sun does as he feels he can misinform and coerce the readers of the sun)

Moving the European Parliament back and forth from Brussels to Strasbourg? Huge waste of European taxpayers money and I think it exemplifies the ridiculousness of the EU. It is farcical how they can be so frivolous with taxpayers money in that way. "

Exactly. Was hoping for a Remainers' comment on this but seems like they know nothing of the waste in the EU or for some reason choose to ignore it

"Please vote to "leave" my fellow (fabbers).

Why do you want us to leave ?

I'm voting remain anyway but just curious

Noone likes the, UK. They see the, UK. as a "threat" so why keep funding them. Charity begins at home on these shores.

Come on mate. There are some valid reasons to vote leave but ill informed non-sense statements like this just make you look bad and don't encourage anyone to take your side."

This im a leave voter. But a lot of reasons on both sides have been so fucking stupid.

If we leave toilet roll will no longer be available. If we stay we will all turn into frogs.

"Please vote to "leave" my fellow (fabbers).

this..

a clear case of be very careful what you ask for as you may not like the answer (and the reality)..

I don't like the way they had butter mountains and wine lakes and grew and destroyed apples just to keep the prices high.

"Just think in 20 years time and your grand children who are all part of the republic of Europe with 1 single monetary, political & taxation system come and ask " Could you have done anything to change this?"

You'll be able to say "yes, but we quite liked the idea of short term comfort at the time so didn't do anything"

Can you tell which way I'm voting? "

All politicians lie. No one can accurately predict what will happen out of the EU but one thing is for certain. It will not be nearly as nice as the leavers say or as bad as the remain threaten.

If it is leave then Scotland (23% of the land mass of the UK and all the N sea oil), will vote to leave the UK. NI will need a border with the south and the troubles showed how hard it is to seal that.

There will be a lot of change. But bilateral trade with North Korea will blossom!!

any 'waste' is not good by large institutions or indeed Government..

Our own Government has wasted tens of millions on failed IT projects, regional fire controls and other failed idea's..

Do you really think the People of Scotland are following snp advice to vote remain, even SNP members are sticking up their middle finger and voting to leave the EU

any SNP members on here actually voting to remain, if they are, they are keeping very quiet

VOTE LEAVE no mater where in the UK you live
