We are thinking of going to Lincoln Fri / Sat night , we are looking for a cheapish central hotel and somewhere to go drinking doesn't have to be a swingers place but we do prefer the punky / rocky type places and dodgy back street bars . Basically we're too old for trendy very busy places .

Hey,
There's a premier inn in the centre that's cheap if booked early .
There's a rock bar up the road called the Jolly Roger.
Head from there into town and there's two rock bars jail house rock upstairs and rock haven downstairs . Downstairs is best bet as there is a live band every Saturday . They are just off silver street.
Then for clubs you can choose moka which is 80s cheese or Home which is 80s downstairs live music main floor present day next floor and r n b upstairs .
