OK this is a really strange thing we have just got to tell you all about and is 100% true

Apart from our main business we also buy stuff at house clearance auctions and sell on ebay

Although we are open to anything that will make a profit we do specialise in two areas - pottery (judy) and records (rich) - which we post all over the world

Now the lady at our local post office said at the start of the week that it would be a while until we sent anything else to japan

The guess what, yesterday we had two records bought that went to Japan!

Now one was a classical LP but the other we found really poignant (sorry if it spelt wong)

So apart from the obvious jokes like 'sailing' beatles 'yellow submarine' and soft cell 'say hello wave goodbye' what would you really think this buyer in Japan actually buy from us? To give a clue it touched our hearts to the point we must tell this story, and it could epitmise the 'i'll take all life can hand out and smile in it's face' attitude.... and was a big hit by an english band in the 60's

Will reply back tomorrow

OK some good suggestions there

What this person in Japan actually did buy (and it struck us as quite poignant) was 'Even The Bad Times Are Good' by the Tremeloes

We would imagine maybe to play to cheer themselves up, maybe they are a DJ, or quite likely as a gift to a friend or loved one who has lost so much but like the song says 'as long as I'm with you, even the bad times are good'

We hope whoever it was meant for appreciates it. It touched our hearts anyway....

Nice to see a genuine japan related story instead of the usual raft of appalling taste jokes.
