Help.
A bloke at work vapes all day long. Caramel flavour. He sits in my goods in cabin and does it. I have a really crap cough and I asked him if he would mind going somewhere else to vape. He said 'don't blame me for your cough' and continues. I've escalated it to managers.
What to do??? |

There is recent evidence that particles from vape fluids can cause irritation to your lungs and airways. Complain to your boss. You would not tolerate cigarette smoking and should not have to tolerate inconsiderate vaping either. |

Complain again to management ... where I work we have all had to sign a policy .... no vaping
We were sent a picture of a guy with severe burns due to having one of these in his pocket .. it exploded resulting in horrific burns ...
Do some research and present it to your company ...good luck |

Construction site even easier, collar the safety officer. If he doesn't think it's a safety concern ask if you ram his vape thing up they guy's arse if it'll be a safety issue then. Tell him something like it blurs your vision and you think you might fall over or some shite like that, and if he doesn't do something you'll be writing to the HSE.
Safety officers are a pain in the arse but if you know how to manipulate them they're brilliant. |

I'm a vaper and wouldn't do it anywhere I wouldn't be able to smoke a cigarette (my own home or the open air, or a bar, where I'll still ask first)... I'm surprised it's allowed in the workplace, mainly because people may mistake it for cigarette smoke and start panicking. It's not on if your colleague is blindly ignoring you. |

Its the same as sitting in a room with a smoke machine and a lot of people can be sensitive to propolene glycol
i used a vape to give up smoking but would never have used it anywhere you couldnt also smoke its jist rude
I do have a smoke machine you can borrow if you want to give him a blast |

That would be amusing. He starts vaping and you fill the place with smoke. Every time he starts to vape you threaten him with your smoke. |
