Jessie J is ok, but she is trying to copy a certain style. Its like anything tho, you get someone starting a particular look and then others jump on the bandwagon and copy, but they are always a poor substitute for the original |

Jessie J is very talented. I did think of her as just another singer until 'Price tag' came out.
I heard her sing it on live lounge and on Jules Holland with just a guitar for accompianament. Outstanding.
Definitley not a wannabee..... Definitely unique and here for the long haul.
Oh and FUCKING sexy bod ... how many people can sing in just a flimsy body stocking .... ? She's not tat though... nice and tastefully modern. |

I think shes very talented vocally and facially shes very interesting too, definitely a good performer in her own right and certainly one we will see around for a while, I do like her, but overall packaging Ive seen that before. Very difficult to make yourself stand out though |

The song writing and music is great, and thats what is important, any stylist can create an image. She will be compared to Lady G, who is a far bigger star. It happens to all, at one time every female artist were compared to Madonna. It could also be said tho that Gaga has been performing for many many years, as a young teen in dingy clubs in New York. Any performers who want to look a bit different and quirky will be compared to Gaga at the moment. Hype is a lot more powerful than music sometimes. Whoever thought up the 'was Gaga born a man' was brilliant. Musically Gaga is brill too, great upbeat dance music. |
