I used to work with a chap from Stirling; he could have read his shopping list to me and I'd be mesmerised (just to clarify, he didn't actually ever read his shopping list to me). |

As a southerner living in Tyneside I often get complimented on my accent but the best one was when I was having a smoke outside a pub and group of people were there and we all got talking. One lass said to me in her lovely geordie accent, "eee man, ah cud suck ye cock all day if ye just keep takin!"
