Do blocked people appear in your updates?

Newbie here in peace**
It goes without saying that there are unbelievably hot woman on here. I have tried my luck and sent them a message and I've had Most deleted without reply. So, I shrugged my shoulders and moved on.
Thing is these ladies keep appearing on my updates. It's killing me seeing there pics but not having mutual interest. I have considered blocking them. Totally in a NON malicious way. Will this stop them appearing on my updates?  |

They won't appear maye. Only place you'll see em is forums  |

lol it must be a warwick thing mate,
i've messaged ladies and couples and been deleted most times, yet same couples and ladies keep come back to look at my profile.
we've got to rise above it mate, if we're honest and open one will come along

Maybe it was irrelevant as someone else had answered the question.
Maybe he didn't want to cause disharmony in the forums.

A lot of nastiness on the forums today. Op take note coming in as a newbie n throwing your wieght around won't do you any favers. You will only see them in here and chances are you will be rewarded with evidence in the fact that your blocking is just. Xxx |

I blocked my ex & his partner so they can't see anything on my profile. As far as I'm aware they don't use the forums (not that I care if they do!!)
I do block certain locals for their constant wingeing or bitching status' though |

I unblocked all my block list last week cos I was organising a social. I'm attually glad i did cos one user I had blocked came to the social and has turned out to be a gem.
My block list may well start growing again soon tho.  xxx |

If you block someone who was on your friend list the system sends you a friend invite from them. If you try accept it'll say you can't while they're blocked. |
