As a single lady i'd love it if all the messages flowed like they do with Outlook when bandying messages back and forth. So much easier to back track & read all the conversations...

That's actually a really good idea, rather like Youtubes 'recommended for you' videos based upon what you've been watching - only in this case, it's based on the ones on your hotlist, and who you've been messaging  |

Something that auto-routes any of the following forum posts to a single giant rolling thread (that can then be hidden if you want) for each category:
- Profile critique requests
- Posts bemoaning lack of meets
- Squirting threads that have drifted into the is it/isn't it pee debate
Am sure there are a few more that I've forgotten too - only problem would be there'd be barely any threads left!!

lots of improvements have happened over the years that i have been on here. they may not be the improvements you specifically wanted but admin do look at suggestions and work on ways to make things better. |

i have never seen any real arguement as to why an app would be a good idea personally. the mobile site works well and you can get notifications when you get emails sent to your phone now. just set a shortcut on your phone and you essentially have an app. |

I do have the short cut, as well as making sure the emails come to my inbox rather than junk. It works fine, I think I may just be so used to the app/fbook culter that I want an app for everything  |

you can set it up on most smart phones these days and the notifications are push notifications that show in your notification bar. also, you can tell your email app to put the emails from fab into your normal inbox not your junk. |

If they then start another conversation chain then that doesnt show on the original one.

1. Accounts with no verifications after 2 months removed.
2. Forum posters must have visible profiles (nothing worse than a hidden keyboard warrior)
3. One club review per club per year per profile (may cut down on the repeat "best club ever" nonsense)
4. Swinging events in date order
5. Multiple profiles run by individuals & clubs removed |

To refine what you are searching for a bit more. Like set different age restrictions for a gender. I'm happy to meet women 57 and younger, but men I prefer under 36. And also a way to red flag someone if you are suspiscious of them but have no proof to warrent a report |

It would be good when you do a browse of people when there is a list it also lists your private notes so you can see what you have put. We have in the past not blocked someone but not really interested in them. Then when we click the profile not remembering who they are they think we are interested because we looked at them. Also have more then one hotlist. We run events and it is nice to have a "I would like to be messaged at next event" as we try not to use forums too much as there are people who do troll some members of a list. Not fair to put people in the firing line if they join a forum by people saying "come to our event instead of theirs lol". It is sad but happens. |

I'd like to see a split message inbox, one standard and one which prioritises messages from friends and hot lists so they don't get lost in the shuffle.
Also maybe you could get a notification if someone you have hotlisted puts you on their hot list.
Also I'd like the ability to set the order of pictures on profile manually rather than by upload date. |

But then it would be like POF (I was on that website a couple of years ago, I was amazed at just how many messages you get, when YOU are in the minority lol).
But seriously; unverified profiles (that includes me folks), should not be able to message first or be limited to the number of messages they can send (first) per day; a wink or message removes that restriction for the winking/messaging profile.
I can't imagine anyone would complain about restricting the amount of messages a that unverified people can send FIRST. I also think that you should have the number of messages restricted if you are not photo-verified too |

Have a platinum membership, only platinum members will know what benefits they will get after getting the membership.
Have a comments box on profiles, you can put a comment about a particular picture.

Photo verification must be done within an hour of joining and new users do not have access to the site until this is done.
Better mail services, ie a 2nd inbox for friends or people you regularly talk to so that their messages do not get buried by messages from other people.

More options than just a hotlist, maybe a watch list, nice pic list, waiting for profile change list, Avoid at all costs list then you could actually use the hotlist & maybe have the option to ping a member who is on it to see if you are on theirs.
I know peeps are against the public hotlist as it is, They use them for different things, but if there were more options to put profiles in maybe the hotlist would go back to being used for its intended purpose?
And yeah I know it'll never happen too

Having my driver license number,linked to my real name, available to be hacked off this site ( with all due respect to " admin" on here but I don't trust them to be able to keep those details secure. )
With a real name and a driver number, my identity can be copied; it can be used to get a bank account in my name, my address can be found; it would be possible to get access to my NI number, and once that was obtained, a duplicate of my birth certificate. And then a passport. |

When you open a profile and you notice the envelope indicating they have mailed you or you have mailed them at some point in the past, it would be good to be able to click that envelope and be taken to the messages you have exchanged before. |

Things I don't like:
* Verifications are easy to fake
* it would be nice to reject verifications
* Crap inbox system
* can't shuffle pics around on profile
* I think profiles that haven't been activated for 6 mths? should be deleted
* Message filters are shit
* and then there are some other things I'd like to change but I'm not even sure if I can post them  |

You can now get a passport .
Amongst other things the place I worked was working on how to lock down these ways of obtaining indentity by theft .

And how do you get the other info to prove who you are to get a new licence to start with and that the licence needs a photo and will be sent to the address of the real person?
Also when you hire a vehicle and they copy your driving licence, or your insurance company has your details, does that mean they can just start dishing out fake driving licences etc.
Anyway this thread was for suggestions on what would you improve, they were my thoughts on the subject. I don't care on how stupid you may think I am, trust me I'm thinking worse of you.
There are lots of places that ask for info like that and store that info, my idea would not store your info but be used to just verify your age and then be deleted, your smart phone will probably have more info on you than them.

I'd like a travel alert facility.. I live in Dubai but travel with work to different countries..on another site I'm on it flags up to people in that area (which I have uploaded dates and info on) that I will be in that area.
It works well and means that you get alerts in advance if someone is travelling to your area - and visa Versa you can place one post to say you're travelling and see what comes of it.
Basically you get an email alert to notify who is coming to your area... I like this a lot! |

Agree to all this. I'm intrigued about what you won't post.
To add to this:
*to be be able opt out of showing online.
*if you are are on some one's hotlist, and you hotlist them, they get a notification, and vice versa. As long as there's the option to opt out of this of course, similar to the look at me.
*Message filters for sexual orientation - 'this couple won't accept messages from bi men' |
