Good morning footballs fans, today is the big game where england is starting the euros, will you also watch it? It is live on itv1 7pm, what is your prediction? I recon england will win with 2-1  |

I really don't think Rooney is the way to go, Hodgson seems to have developed a blind spot with regards to the England captain... He's not the player he was (which isn't saying much) and Kane and Vardy can dovetail at the front. We have a great attacking squad, if they play where they're used to |

Usual Rooney hating thread.
Personally I'm not sure Vardy and Kane together is a great option, too similar looking for same space. Rooney still best passer we have so not an issue with him in midfield but we need to get a bit more gung-ho and go for it.

The combined age of the two Russian Centre backs is 70 
Put a bit of pace in there and we should do well.
I'd prefer a Kane/ Rooney pairing.
I think the way Vardy has been playing is too one dimensional, and Kane is more versatile  |

2-0 England. Would like to see Vardy up top with his pace against the Russian centre halves. But then again may be better off the bench.
Think Wales will go be better then their egg chasing counterparts and scrape a win too.. Bale will score the winner and save a penalty |

Usual problem for England. After they get a goal up...they assume the best way to stop Russia scoring is to keep passing the ball around and keep possession.
Actually the best way to prevent an equaliser....is to score another goal! They basically just stopped and sat back....then the inevitable happened. |

Gotta say liverpool must be laughing selling Stirling for 50 mill cos i wouldn't give 50p for him dreadful 1st touch every time he had the ball it broke down to nothing.

I blame Hodgson. Sterling should have been hooked at half time replaced by Vardy. And if you are taking Rooney off put Milner or Henderson in the middle. Not Wilshere. |

I thought for once we were playing good attacking football although crap in the final execution but as soon as we scored and that old fucking twat did defensive subs i knew we were fucked
As soon as we went back to how we always play going backwards and slowing down as England of norm we just threw away every good thing we'd done up till that point.
Was going to say unbelievable but it isnt really  |

Reality check before Euro 2016.....in the eight times we have qualified for the finals we have still yet to win an opening game. With four draws and four defeats, negative starts have left a mountain to climb albeit not insurmountable! |
