I find the honours system deeply depressing because generally it is those who want for little in life that get recognised. Let us salute those who sacrifice much not for gain but for altruism.. |

70% may go to so called ordinary people but all the top ones go to cronies, political backers and nobody civil servants. As for Rod spent virtually all his adult life as a tax exile. Just moved back to this country so his kids can get a free education, and we go on about immigrants... makes my blood boil |
