My dearest chums

Tomorrow my beautiful boys play their first ever European Championship Match.

I cant say I have ever been so happy , since a boy I have dreamed of this day. So many near misses so many maybes and what ifs .

Now we are there and not to just make up the numbers .

I am so very proud of the Lads , Gary Speed will be there in France in spirit looking down on our beautiful lads.

So good Luck to all the Home Nations all the best guys .

So I know its not the greatest song ever written but I cant help feeling just amazing listening to it. I get so jolly excited, cry, sing and dance

3 Lions is my fav.

And Andy King (i may have mentioned this before) is my fav player so although im English im supporting Wales aswell ... gonna be difficult when they play each other cus i will want Wales and hubby will want England and we will be watching in Scotland !

Not a football song as such but seeing as it's an international competition, the French national anthem. It's just a rousing, get you up for it anthem compared to most others

There are some classic football songs but in terms of international ones I will always have a soft spot for World in Motion (and yes, I know all the words including the John Barnes 'rap'). Clubwise it's before my time but Edric Connor's Manchester United Calypso is wonderful and joyous.

Not a dig because they never made it but football or rugby the Scot's singing Flower of Scotland makes the hairs stand up for me
