If we are all watching the signs apparently we've only got until May this year left anyway so I suspect we might all be going to the sound of sirens.....
then the Sound of Silence...... |

"Barber's Adagio for Strings. Just to be a complete drama queen and make things grandiloquently cinematic. All the mourners will move in slow motion too."
I hope they do too - on zimmer frames so you'll have also been a ripe old age when you pass on!! |

haha the platoon music is a powerful piece of music just for the serious part of the funeral and i also like the post of the laughing policeman but the best would have to be monty pythons
look on the bright side of life. |

As they carry my box in I think it will have to be "Entrance of the Gladiators".
And as my box goes behind the curtain at the crematorium it'll be...
"Ride of the Valkyries" |

would have lots of seriously sad classical stuff that made people cry and realise they would miss me and also lighthearted lighthearted pieces so they remember my humour( sorry if it hasn't shown on forums lol ) |

"you never walk alone - gerry an pacemakers "
Had this at my Dad's funeral (an avid football fan). Was surreal all the mourners standing and waving their arms and singing at the top of their voices
Struggled for ages to watch a Liverpool FC footir game on the TV |

If I was choosing one for myself it would be "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd. Preferably the live version from their recent re-union! (9:20 of sheer bliss!)
If it was being chosen for me by my good lady? "Your Long Journey" by Alison Kraus and Robert Plant. Sounds kinda jolly, but the words are poignant... (Go listen to it on Youutube!)

I couldnt get this to play properly on Youtube, so i cant comment on the song much but the scenes in the video were fantastic, imagined myself running downstream, jumping from rock to rock and spashing about with no-one to tell me off for getting wet, think it was about the 5 or 6 picture |
