on the road to nowhere in particular |
Those of you that know that I had an epiphany moment and became a person of virtue will probably remember my threads about major lifestyle and dietary changes, giving up sugar and carbohydrates.
I would like to take this moment to announce that in less than a month I have dropped a whole stone in weight.
This has been done by mainly cutting out bread, potatoes and fizzy drinks of all kinds.
By eating plenty of meat and protein from nuts and avocados I have hardly missed not having chocolate and cake.
Portion control may be the next step but at the moment I am still eating like a greedy pig.
It won't be long before my abs are looking like steel girders on my fully ripped torso.
Have fun people, the weekend is coming |

"Good work fella
Are you gonna start hanging out yer front window showing people what you've made for dinner? "
I did that for the first couple of weeks until I ran out of recipes everyone is bored of looking at my hunters chicken
I must also thank Topsy Rogers for recommending a great cookery book. |

Well done, and thank you for inspiring me to get started on it. Done it before, so know it's possible. 1.5 stone to lose, in spite of cycling 75 miles a week. Summer is a good time to lose weight too! My office is always full of cake though... Cakes and Ale, my downfall. |

Dont know if its been mentioned to you or you're already aware of it but the lean in 15 book is a great book which has loads of recipies in and may help with your portion control
Id say it's more about what you eat rather than how much
Keep up the good work though |

"Congrats OP.
You can really see the weight loss in your profile pic. "
Hats now too big for his head???
Hehe ... Fair play C. Not easy to stick to it but I'll bet you feel 10 times better for it especially when you notice the results |

I know I mess about on most threads with silliness but when I do post something serious, I do appreciate the kind words and encouragement. The post saying I have inspired someone to take charge and do something about a lifestyle change means it has been all worthwhile.
Thanks guys! |

Well done OP, that's really good going, I've lost just over a stone in about 6 weeks through diet changes and exercise and I feel great so I'm sure you must too. Once you start seeing a difference and others do too it serves as even greater motivation, keep it up |
