Avoiding all alcohol the night before works quite well. If that's not possible, a mate of mine used to swear by eating a banana before going to bed, although I've not tested that theory. A fry up the size of Wales and a lake of coffee seems to work for me! |

Don't stop. Keep drinking. It only hurts once you stop.
Seriously, hangovers are mainly the dehydrating effect of alcohol so you can mitigate by drinking plenty of water before sleeping. Prior to drinking ear a good meal heavy in carbohydrate (pasta or potatoes etc) as it will stop booze being absorbed into the bloodstream so quickly.
In the morning a full fat fizzy drink should help to replenish blood sugar levels and another decent meal should help your body to recover. I've read that tomato juice is good as is a bloody Mary. |

"I'm probably going to annoy a few people now but I don't get them. I haven't had a hangover for over twenty years and no matter how pissed I get I wake up naturally at 6am. Sorry. "
Same here, never had one.
I can get sicky ill if I really kick the arse out of it, but no headache at all. |
