Last time I went you had to pay for one pair and could have another to the same value. There was no restriction on what so I could have had sunglasses if I had wanted to. It may have changed now though. |

I went to specsavers and had one pair of glasses for distance and another for reading.
I wouldnt go there again though, not cos of the glasses but because of the accuracy of the eye test. Obviously it was down to the specific store I used, but I wore contact lenses. I had regular check ups, in fact I went quite a lot because I used to buy coloured lenses and had to get fitted for each pair individually.
But I have an intolerance to contact lenses and every time I put them in, I was getting little tears on my cornea, which resulted in a corneal ulcer which required intense hospital treatment and I cant wear lenses anymore. Luckily my full sight is restored but I have bad scarring, in fact scarring upon scarring which had been there a while and should have been picked up on eye tests.
So just have faith in the optician thats all I say. |
