I'm not really sure how you arrive at that conclusion...surely the whole point of creating 'art' is to make some kind of 'point'?

Well the best example would be gay and lesbian cinema.
It is nearly universally, badly written, badly acted and badly directed.
Because the plot its butchered to make a point about homosexuality rather than just be entertaining.
And the actors sexuality often takes precident over thier acting ability.
And they can't get a good director cause most wont touch it.
Same as ny discrimination tbh, the moment you start using unrelated criteria to pick people
over thier capability things suffer.

I do like listening to all genres of music, apart from country & western and jazz
