I upgraded from Windows 8 to 10, and apart from having to re install it after a break down it has been pretty good

I kept getting messeges asking me to upgrade.

Then messeges telling me to upgrade.

Then messeges saying it was going to upgrade regardless of my choices.

It upgraded yesterday despite me not wanting it too

I love it and just a few weeks left to get it for free.

There's a major upgrade coming in the anniversary edition too.

Older versions will become less secure and support eventually stop.

It's not the worst of software. I don't get to use my phone as much these days but it seems good. The only version of Windows I never wanted was windows 8.

Same here, it keeps saying upgrade. I like windows 8 and will keep it as it is, also windows 10 is only free to july then you have to pay for it.

If you upgrade to 10 for free you may not be able to go back to 7 or 6 if that is an OEM version.

You cannot transfer the free version of 10 to another pc or on upgrade of the MB or HDD.

Google 'Gibson Research Corporation' they have a small utility called 'Never 10' that permanent disables the upgrade nagware.

It depends on how ild you laptop or pc is. Newer machines will upgrade fine. If you have an older machine its better to check if its Windows 10 compatible. Happy to help anyone if the need assistance

best to upgrade expires before end of july, and then you will have to pay for it. windows 10 is way better then vista or 8, almost as good as 7.

i think win 10 is better than win 7 after using it for 6 months

win 7 was my fave windows OS before that
