Never paid bills in my life until the past year. Now I pay my phone and my car insurance and never ever look at the bills......until recently.
My monthy mobile bill was £189.00 instead of the normal £10.00 contract fee. Ok it was my fault, but this led me to scrutinise my phone bill. Turned out I have been paying a monthy travel bundle since April last year. I only requested it for the 2 months I was travelling in Europe. I wrongly assumed that having given the dates i needed it for that it would be cancelled upon return. Turns out they have been taking it from me ever since. Anyhow they are reimbursing me with the amount paid since return from Europe. Okay problem solved. But the other issue was Multi media, what feckin multi media? So I actually went on line to view my account. Multi media turns out to be this random text I received quite often. The minute I open this text it charges me feckin £1.50. So I rang my phone company. They said that there is nothing they can do, but at some stage I have given my number out (give it out all the time to bloody men on here btw haha!!!) on some sort of competition etc. They in turn go on to pass your number on to a second party. I have been getting these random texts for such a long time. So the solution was to text back to this number the words STOP ALL in capitals. They responded back with 3 texts which I didnt even open, just quickly deleted.
So the moral to my story is....check ya feckin bills |

Anyhow I texted STOP ALL to that number and they promptly sent me back 3 texts. Problem was, I wasnt going to open them up to find out what they put in case I automatically incurred a feckin £4.50 charge |

A few years ago I got a letter from BT asking if I wanted to upgrade from dial up to broadband which I did. about 18 months later I actually bothered to look at a phone bill. I found I was paying for dial up and broadband! when i queried it they told me it was my responsibility to cancel the dial up agreement even though I had answered one of their letters offering me an upgrade. the woman told me its not their problem which connection I was choosing to use.
when I moved i knocked em for the same amount |
