Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I love watching people, just getting on with their lives.

Last night I was transfixed by a couple so into each other that the rest of the world seemed not to exist for them.

Do you make up stories about the people you are observing?

Yeah, all the time. I like characters. So people with interesting personalities intrigue me, I like character-driven novels, and I like to think about what mundane things average people do on a regular basis. NYC was perfect for this. Subway rides were fascinating.

I have whole lives flood my mind just based on the window, it's curtains/blinds etc. and whether you can see anything.

Most people seem to be eyes down on their phones nowadays. I do wonder.

I find stories about them too. Some people look so intense when they are on their phone and I imagine the text argument going on.

I love people watching. Sit in a cafe with a coffee and just peruse everyone going past. Usually see a couple rowing and then a loved up pair. I'm always surprised that some people do not talk at all whilst having coffee. They sit in silence or on their phones.

Pavement cafe life is great....constant snippets of peoples lives, yet knowing you never know their story

People watching can be so much fun.

Trying to work out what they might be saying. Watching for little signs of who they are.

Love people watching, i'm very voyeuristic anyway, so it's just an extention on that.

Too many people buried in their phones nowadays.

I love people watching it's great even better when you can listen in however a few weeks ago when I was sat in a beer garden watching and listening to a cpl talking behind me they was arguing but trying to keep their voices low the woman retorted a humorous comeback at the guys expense and I laughed like a proper belly laugh I was sat on my own so couldn't pass off I was laughing at someone else they both wasn't happy and gave me grief oops.

At least they were talking to each other and not on their phones...! Some couples are together physically but in separate worlds. So sad to see.

I look at people and wonder what they worry about and what problems they have in their lives.

Most people are probably wondering what to have for tea!

Grays & London

Love plotting up at Kings Cross watching people rushing about. They are surrounded by hundreds of people but they don't see any of them!

Yep. I love people watching.

Sometimes I sit on the bench having lunch or even a coffee outdoors and watch people walk by, carrying on with their busy lives.

I like to try and guess what they are up to or where they are going.

One thing I noticed is no one hardly ever smiles.

This is where it's useful to have a prop like a book or magazine and then you can pretend it was something funny there.
