The Baltic Sea anomaly is a 60-metre (200 ft) diameter circular rock-like formation on the floor of the northern Baltic Sea, at the center of the Bothnian Sea,[...] in June 2011. The team reported that the formation rests on a pillar and includes a structure similar in appearance to a staircase, leading to a dark hole.

Commentators have suggested that the structure could be a World War II anti-submarine device, a battleship gun turret, sediment dropped by a fishing trawler, or a flying saucer. Geologists have stated that it is most likely a natural geological formation.

I liked the quote

Jonathan Hill of the Mars Space Flight Facility questioned the motives involved in Ocean X announcements, which included plans to take wealthy tourists in a submarine to visit the site. He was quoted as saying "Whenever people make extraordinary claims, it's always a good idea to consider for a moment whether they are personally benefiting from the claim or if it's a truly objective observation."

I might even start adding that to all the EU threads....

Only saw something about this on Friday. Love stuff like this, even though the answer is probably far less interesting than theory.

Haverfordwest

It's probably the builders rubble from when the aliens had the contract to do the pyramids or Stonehenge. Fly tipping is not new, it's been going on since the fly was invented.

I'd not heard of it before. Funny looking thing but yes I predict the explanation is actually quite dull.

Does look alien though.

It was on discovery channel a free years back, they weren't quite sure what it was but lots of different theories.

If I remember correctly there was two of them, one twice the size and one had what looked like.. Err a great big skid mark a few hundred years long.... I'm saying nothing

I'd heard of this a few years back then dumped it from my memory - obviously a crashed alien mother ship. Anyone suggesting otherwise is clearly a secret government operative out to debunk and ridicule the truth
