Im not Irish so won't be doing anything to celebrate (sorry to be one of the first to say this) I always find it rather odd how people without Irish connections join in - another excuse for a meaningless piss up in certin quarters, is my only conclusion. |

Personally I'm looking forward to going to Ireland to celebrate St. George's day.
Apparently they are mad about it!
In the pubs they have all of these flags n stuff and everyone drinks pissy weak flat lager and eats Greggs pasties!
Mad! |

It was bizzare living over in N Ireland, we had St Patrick's day off school, but as an English child i wasn't allowed to take the day off for St George's day |

"I'll be off to the races at Cheltenham ooohhhh hope you have a good time, its a great day out!
As a local lass I have to confess to having never been there!! repent and have a great time! lol "
In my younger years i used to celebrate mine by getting bladdered on Guiness lol |

"I don't, only celebrate St Andrew's night, Burns Night and Hogmany"
love Burns night, we used to celebrate this when I lived in N Africa but peeps round here aren't into it in the same way. |
