Dear Friends, Fabbers and Forumites
“So you want to be a rock and roll star “ Sang The Byrds, and also covered by Nazereth .
Pooch and I have just watched Rhod Gilbert’s ( jolly spiffingly funny dead pan welsh comedian) new program on Best Amateur Bands in the Country on BBC4
There were some splendid bands on there too.
So chums lets for a Fab Forumite Band
Pop your name down and the instrument you would like to play , its fantasy so if you can’t play one its cool . a Game Of Thrones stylie make it up as you go along . If you can play even better ,
So what would you Play?
What kind of musical direction should we take ?

I can play all sorts of woodwind and keyboard things, can sing a bit and know my way around a drum kit. Stringwise I am limited though; can just about manage a bass or ukulele but any more than 4 strings and I am buggered. |

It's true actually. There was a competition at a Christmas disco when I was 7 to see who could do it the best and I couldn't do it at all so I didn't enter, but I made a point of going home and learning it in case it ever came up again.... it hasn't... but I can still do it.  |
