Nah the only people that I'm concerned about are the people I care about in my everyday life. I try and treat people how I would like to be treated myself but if I took every dig that was made about me on here personally I would be a mess. |

Not really. Some people will like me and others won't and I'm okay with that.

I care about some peoples view of me on here and others a couldnt give a fuck.. Maybe that's why they don't like me.. I wouldn't fuck them!

I never really answered.
I do care how I treat people in general, and in a sense I care how anyone perceives me. That is generally, not on here specifically. I think people like to be perceived as not caring how they are perceived, but I think that if anyone found out that everyone didn't like them, it might bother them a tad.
So yeah, I care about how the people I care about perceive me. But I also won't change my opinions based in that perception. |

I don't care anymore, if people want to block me because they have taken offence to something they have read online I'm not sure I'd want to meet anybody that sensitive anyway

Surely by responding to this thread we clearly do care how we are perceived.... in fact by posting our feeling on the matter we are taking an oppertunity to reinforce how we care.....
Perhaps its only people that don't respond who truly don't care how they are perceived...

This is what I mean. If someone hopes they aren't though of badly it doesn't mean they want to be everyone's favorite. And I don't just mean that about the forums, it's true, for me at least, in life I general.
I've gotten nasty messages, and in a way they did bother me for a day or so. Does that mean I want universal praise? No. But I'd rather not be the object of scorn, either. |

I think to say I 'don't care' sounds a bit crass. Of course we like to be perceived well, and will present the best of ourselves, but I don't worry about it, nor am I going to change myself or pretend to be anything to court opinion, just stay authentic. I am very fussy about who I befriend and meet and only want to connect with people who will appreciate the real me too. |

Not at all but to put it bluntly most people on here will not leave any lasting mark on my life so why worry? If people like me they thats nice amd if they dont i have to say who are they to me? Chances are i wouldnt even remember their username let alone what they may have said.
Not caring doesnt mean being mean thats not who i am. Its being who i am and saying what i think regardless of how i think it will be perceived. Or whether someone will like me for it. |

I don't worry. I am a people pleaser so I am momentarily discombobulated when I appear to have upset someone forum wise but other than that I don't really mind. Plus I waffle a lot so people tend to skip past without perceiving me anyway. |

Ok,let me try to elucidate,a bit if I can. I'm not bothered if no one here likes me or doesn't like me. I have seen lots of my comments on threads go ignored; it doesn't bother me,I flit around a lot anyway. Occasionally someone comes here and has a dig at someone and instead of saying oi,don't be a cunt! I word myself so I don't get reported and banned,no one wants a ban right? Have I covered everything? |

I think Some people find it hard to separate cyber life from reality.
I like to think it's a bit of fun and I take most of it with a huge pinch of salt and a chuckle.

I'm the same here and in real life. I tend to open my mouth and talk without thinking.
If I started worrying what people thought of me I'd probably hyperventilate and then shoot myself.
So I try not to think about that, in a "la la la I'm not thinking about it" kinda way.
It could explain why I have no friends in real life though.
