Most women have them. Most men are aware of the fact that they exist. We're all adults. What's the big deal? Status', forum posts are relevant to some people and not to others. I wouldn't let it get me ranty (unless I was due on  ) |

I find it embarrassing to tell a man I have my period so can't meet. I was meant to meet a man for second meet last month when got mine, messaged to tell him, he must have assumed I was lying coz he never replied. Periods are erratic when you heading for menopause. XXX |

I don't know why people post it on their status. But can't see why people get het up about a forum post.
What I can't believe is that women who swing (and like me are really horny when on) don't use sponges?
It's an old working girl trick but massive on the continent. Sold as 'sex tampons' in Germany they are like a contraceptive sponge only it's to hide any blood and continue as normal.

this is a site where you're basically sharing your body with other people. i think it's ok to let people know what is going on with your body at any given time if you want to.
it's only your period.
if some people are not open about their bodily functions then that's fine too. keep your stuff to yourself, and you're opinions on others while you're at it. |

Maybe because we get fed up of getting messages telling us how random strangers want to fill every one of our orifices with their bodily fluids and just once a month we get the opportunity to gross them out a bit like they do to us everyday?

To be serious though, I have mentioned mine in a couple of threads today( although it's not my status, honest) I don't normally mention it, but today I am feeling particularly poorly, and a bit fed up, which is unusual for me, and I have to say that I feel quite an affiliation with lots of the forum regulars now, so for me it was no biggie to mention it, in a kind of general chat and rant situation  , I felt that my forum friends may offer a little tea and sympathy( although it took some convincing in markoh's case) so if I have offended your delicate nature then I greatly apologise, but unfortunately I'm unable to promise that I won't be mentioning it again, but you will be safe in my case for at least the next 28 days Mrs blue eyes |
