From AOL News :
"Budget airline Ryanair has come up with a possible new cost-cutting measure in the form of stools rather than seats on flights.
The Irish no-frills carrier is looking at the possibility of increasing capacity on flights by getting some passengers to squat on stools."
This must be a joke FFS! Thay cannot be serious
Can they ?

Well.. they wanted a Euro a time to use the Loo so why not??
Doubtful it would ever get past the consultation stages though.. Its a massive safety issue!
Anyone who has had the misfortune to use this airline will know how they make you feel... Bahh, Mooo
Not recommended.. even Easy Jet feels classy compared! |

I'm not keen on flying at the best of times but if this is what it's going to end up like, sitting on a stool and pissing into an empty Lucozade bottle I'd sooner stay at home.
In fact if they charge to use the bog, you may well be sitting on a stool - literally |

We were once on a Ryanair flight Dublin to Birmingham, and the stewardesses couldn't make some of the passengers sit down. The flight landed while several Irish business types were having a conference in the aisle.
Obviously stools would have been a lot safer.

I'm afraid this isn't a joke. They are of course introducing stools. The next big problem is that they are no longer going to employ pilots, but expect a passenger to volunteer. I'm worried about this, because I am only certified for a 747 and Mig fighters. I think that's what the doctor said. He certainly said I was certified. |

I'm qualified to use a MIG welder, do you reckon RyanAir would notice? |
