We love it's vintage feel.

one time we stayed there was a childrens carol service in the back of the main room it was lovely |

How I remember them....when they were working....they always passed my floor fucking full...had to wait ages but it all depends how full it is I suppose |

I stayed there a few years ago. Great lobby. Good bars.
The room? Bloody awful. Tiny. Last decorated in 1965. Truly horrid. |

A park bench would have been cleaner than my room, for sure. There were some very suspicious stains on the carpet, too. Yuk. |

Stayed there for my hen night in 2005. Great sausages at breakfast. Didn't sleep in the bed (1) because it didn't look clean & (2) I stayed up all night drinking, the windows didn't open & the bathroom wasn't pleasant.
However, it was 11 years ago & I think they stuck hen & stag parties on certain floors.
The sausages ended up on the west coast main line, I had alcohol poisoning. Great memories though  |

Stayed there a few years ago, in this massive room,like someone said already, with a massive table and chairs, two candelabra and a jacuzzi (didn't work) in a corner
One of my group was mugged for their wallet in the lobby
On the plus side it's got a fantastic function room where a whole wall moves up to reveal another room behind it |

Worst hotel in Liverpool. Very sad it has been run down over the years with no investment as it has the history and grace to be one of the best. The hotel is not a true reflection of the city and it's great people. Avoid. |

thats where we had our dinners in the function room. Off the side of the ball room and then the other room at the back where we saw a carol concert one time |
