Derbyshire

An Australian woman somehow managed to climb over a beach, go swimming in a crocodile wildlife habitat and is now 'missing' after she was eaten by crocodiles as her friend watched.

There are currently no reports about where her husband and children were, and why they weren't holding her hand, and although no-one was shot, the crocodile is thought to be suffering from indigestion caused by the lycra swimsuit.

When quizzed in the Australian Parliament, the minister shrugged and said "If you're going to go swimming there at night, you're going to get consumed"

(He did actually say that )

Vote now on who we should string up...

"The lycra swimsuit should be strung up

Or her friend, that quote, plus the fact that it is a crocodile habitat, is one of the main reasons they dont suspect the koala bear nearby.

Could be, when questioned, one of them did look a bit jumpy.

Shoot them too?

"Had they been drinking "

No. They don't allow crocodiles to have any alcohol. Some people blame that for the current conflict between the species.

My Own Little World

North Queensland member for parliament, Warren Entsch, who represents the region, said the victim should be blamed for the attack, not the crocodile.

"You can't legislate against human stupidity," Entsch said on Monday, noting that Thornton Beach lies next to a creek where tourism operators run crocodile-spotting tours.

"This is a tragedy but it was avoidable. You can only get there by ferry, and there are signs there saying watch out for the bloody crocodiles," he added.

"If you go in swimming at 10 o'clock at night, you're going to get consumed."

I love the Aussie ability to say it as it is.

No, poor thing actually did die. But, it could have been avoided had she been a bit clever about it.

Sadly not, but apparently the story didn't get as much prominence since crocodiles aren't seen as 'cuddly'.

Is that why they're good for handbags? The teeth dissuade pick-pockets trying to steal your purse?

Clearly it's the fault of the refugees.

Or the lady who went swimming.

Someone will be along shortly and blame a lack of signs and Nebosh regulations in place.
