I've had a headache for the past 8 days
Feels like a pressure headache and comes on after I've been moving about a bit. Take a couple of pain killers then it goes for the rest of the day.
Not dehydrated as I drink at least 2litres of water a day. Any clues before I ring the docs tomorrow? |

Taking pain killers regularly can actually cause headaches. My neuros told me this. Maybe try and lay off them if you can. I agree don't Google your symptoms!! Before you know it you'll have a brain tumour and have 2 days left to live!!! Hope it gets better soon. Xxx |

I suffer with migraines, let your Dr diagnose migraine and treat accordingly. If it has been constant for 8 days then it does sound like it though you can only tell them your experience - if it is localised, at any time of the day, caused by anything recent (knock to the head), are you stressed at work, getting enough sleep, had an eye test etc. Have you had a gum check recently (may sound surprising that). |

You just have to filter out the dross.
There is normally an NHS site, or webmd site.
Then I just work on the principle that I'm so unlikely to have anything special, I just look for the bit that says "Meh, it's probably nothing, just try resting for a week or two"

My father in law had a slight cough, he went on Google to have a look. Within the hour he was wringing everyone telling them he had lung cancer and he wanted to say his goodbyes. |

We can get rebound headaches as a result of pain killer use but your low dose doesn't suggest this.
As there's pollen about I wondered about low grade hay fever.
Sometimes symptoms come that don't immediately suggest the causes. I'm recommending destressing, so that your body and mind get a good therapeutic recovery. Maybe grab one of the guys from my Fancy A Fuck thread to come over and give you a massage. |

i do have hayfever and take anti-histamine tablets daily.
am trying to find my foam roller to see if lying on it might relieve some muscle tension to see if that is the cause |

I suffer from daily headaches ,but have learned to live with them, its got to the stage that if i dont get a headache i panic wondering why i havent got one,but they have improved since i stopped taking pain killers ,doctor put it down to the tension in my neck,as when i lie down the headache goes, and when I'm standing its back ,also being on a computer screen or phone screen for long periods of time can cause headaches. |
