There seems to be folks still caught up in the thinking that one way of being applies to all. This is the virtual world. Not the real world. Not everyone has to remain "humble". Some are extroverts, vulgar and some are ostentatious.
If someone's ego threatens you without them having spoke to you directly know that this is your issue, not the other way around.
Variety is the spice of life. Try and have a laugh, it's excellent medicine for your grievances lol

Maybe the op is just saying if someone hasn't messaged you or directed a comment at you why get worked up over their way of thinking or personality,
And a lot of people do on here just like in the "real" world |

You can't be self-deprecating without a good level of awareness. I have my moments of self deprecation. I just make sure they're shared with the right people. Usually the ones who end up with a wet patch after a serious bout of laughter |

I get that ppls insecurities can manifest in how they behave towards u, we all heard how most bullies bully ppl because of their own issues. There's also another phrase that I like 'ppls opinion of u is none of your business' |

Does anybody actually enjoy the company of arrogant, cocky, self righteous people though? Surely....a guy who thinks he's the greatest looking or smartest guy in the world doesn't want to hang around 5 other guys who also think that about themselves, right? Won't all those egos clash?
People are entitled to be as arrogant and stuck up as they want to be, but that doesn't mean others will like it, or will even deal with them.
