I really don't know what 'successful' would be, as its individual interpretation and wants, but I guess it conveys personality better if they're funny but anything over the top looks a little try hard to me. |

I've no interest in profiles that substitute eccentric waffle in place of the sort of clear and specific information required to gauge sexual compatibility and mutual appeal.....

I'm the opposite. I can't tell if I'm going to fancy someone from a generic profile of wants and dislikes. I can only tell from someone's personality, so I need them to show that on their profile so I can see what they are like. |

I can't answer for the whole site but I've found the ppl with eccentric profiles are generally the ppl I know I'd get on with. Life is far to short to take it seriously all the time.

My profile reflects me I don't take anything serious tbh this site my profile I just want laughs and fun tbh if I don't get it here i'll get it somewhere else down the pub with my mates with my partner with my kids life's for living and not for living on fab |

I changed my profile very recently, I think it reflects me as a person a lot better than my old one did.
I don't really worry if it does put people off, if they are put off by my profile we probably wouldn't be compatible. |
