I just experiment with my phone...placing it in different places, different angles and lighting... I also use the voice command. Take loads and pick the best ones. Steal others ideas and add your own twist. Experiment with filters and cropping. |

The face pic you have is very dark,can barely see you!
I'd suggest standing directly underneath a light bulb n taking a shit load of selfies but slightly adjust your positioning for each shot,also take some with the camera looking down at you as well as up at you.
One you've done this check out all the pics n you'll see the difference the positioning of the camera as well as yourself has in regard to the angle of each pic n the effect of shadows etc....
