Either my mum's coffee sponge or my triple choc cup cakes. I have thankfully inherited my mum's baking ability. She is a cake genius, I have aspirations. |

Yesterday my housemates knew I needing cheering up so they bought me an Angel cake covered in strawberry icing with hundreds and thousands and some strawberry custard.
Haven't had it since I was a kid. But it was yummy. And cheered me up.
Also had me wired on the amount of sugar!!! |

Just been to Morrisons shopping........
Ran out of cheese and cream, so popped in at just before 4.00pm this afternoon,
just minutes before they were closing...
OMG! WOW!
they were practically giving cakes away,
And pies,
And cooked chicken,
And bread.......
Yummy! |

Top favourite has to be Frisky's carrot and walnut or her carrot and apple. Followed very closely by her red velvet.
My mum also does a very nice banana cake...
Shop bought either battenburg or stollen....
I need cake and Frisky refuses to get out of bed to make me some, even though I woke her up gently... |

Or Passion cake (it's a carrot/banana hybrid) with cream cheese frosting
Or Salted caramel and vanilla sponge with butterscotch icing |
