Free Photo-Editing Software for Windows 10

Which photo editing software would you recommend, as our computer only came with MS paint .

We don't need anything fancy, but particularly I want to be able to combine photos without the trouble of printing them off, cutting them out, sellotaping them together and taking another pic (like our last Valentine pic )

I just worry about the pitfalls if downloading 'free' software.

Use GIMP.

You should be able to combine pictures in paint by drawing out the edge and pasting into the space.

For online work I do I use Photo Scape and gimp both are free.

GIMP is the best free photo editor package as its so much like Photoshop & Paintshop Pro.

we have used befunky free easy to use built in tutorials lots of options

or if you can find a cheap copy go for lightroom daunting at first but fabulous results once you get the hang of it
