Hate to join the bandwagon but a idiot hit my car twice in the side and drove off( car insured not reported stolen )near as dam fucked my car so I'm going to fuck his insurance by claiming for whiplash ,,,,, what's the going rate these days ?

cheers buddy, its not the insurance company that will be effected, it will be you and I, the people purchasing insurance, as companies just put up the premiums, so effectively you are throwing a fuck into me and everyone else who purchases car insurance

You've worded this pretty badly to be honest. But everyone kicks off about people claiming whiplash, but until they've been crashed into by some bell end not paying attention they don't realise how much being hit by 1.5 tonnes of metal hurts.

I got £1700 for someone driving into the back of me on the motorway and still have a click in my neck that no amount of physio has managed to shift.

It is worded as if it is a made up injury then after my comment, its worded as a genuine injury, and it projects itself more about money than recovery

You're absolutely right about money being the most important, unfortunately we live in a claim culture these days. And I suffer more than most on car insurance.

I was contacted with the offer of £1700 and as soon as id been sent to see a doctor and done most of the physio accepted it.

I imagine a lot of people will take it through court just to try get more money, I was just glad it was all sorted quite quickly.
