Bank Holiday again:

What games do you play with the kids on a long journey:

1. Spot the truck:

One point for an Eddie Stobbart - with a bonus if you see the name of the girl it's dedicated to

Two points for a Norbert Dentressangle

2. Spot the red telephone box.

My favourite is:

3. Yellow car - punch your partner

My dad used to play a game with license plates. Different state license plates were worth different amounts. Certain states further away from NY or those with small populations, but still on the continental US, would be worth 25 cents each. Alaskan plates were worth $3. Hawaii plates were worth $5.

If we were really observant and lucky a long car ride (5-9 hours) could rack up some good cash.

You now see the difference in England being a 5-9 hour journey is a traffic jam 5 miles from your house

Me and my best trans buddy enjoy cruising in her car with the roof down exposing some leg and waving at the truckers who honk at us.

We used to do rainbow cars too: start with a red one and work your way through orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue and purple, then find a gold one for the pot of gold at the end.

We had a hire car with both of those- there was also a collision warning thingy which told you if there was a car in front so you didn't even have to look out of the window- the higher models in the range also do the brakes! Makes me wonder why I wasted my time learning to drive

I can't wait for these driverless cars. I get so nervous driving d*unk. It'll be awesome just crawling into the boot and it taking me home without risking my license.
