.. its a show people either love or hate. I dont watch it unless im visiting my grandparents, but it causes so many arguements between my grandparents.
Would you know when to stop? or would you go along with the attitude 'i came with nothing, id go home with nothing?'. Ive often thought if i had an offer of £17,000 id leave no matter what.. but sometimes the boards look soooo tempting.
I find the show gripping and frustrating in equal measures. If you were a contestant, how would you play it? |

its a great programme.
we look at it one way,if it got to £15,000 its time to deal.
can you imaging somone just giving that to you in the street, then saying or you can gamble , you would take the money |

If you watch it with your other half do you find yourselfs debating wether or not to go on? lol watching my grandparents makes me giggle |

If I was a contestant, I'd hang myself...because they only let annoying knobs on that show via auditions, so if I was on it, it'd be confirmed that I'm an annoying knob. |

I remember some comedian saying why doesn't somebody just take what's in the box right at the start and save all the faffing around. You're probably just as likely to get a decent amount. |

there was somthing here on net and in papers thay done a show and put on the bored next box that was going to be open how much in it .... before it had been even picked and opened never got on the tv just people looking and who was there said... not sure look it up but there was somthing |

o0o0o well i dont know about that, perhaps the person who controls the board graphics is the independant adjudicator person and therefore he/she knew what was in the box..

They film several shows in a day, otherwise people would have to give up their jobs just to play. its about 22 games ish before its the selected players turn, so you have an idea when to bring the family to bristol. the families are there for about 3 or 4 games i believe but arent always filmed in the audience. |

howabout the chelsea pensioner who won 20k? the day he was picked he decided to wear his full uniform and medals. another time i was watching it the contestant was a care worker called Bel. A week later she turned up as a model in an advert in one of tra's mags. she never mentioned she was a model too. funny that! |

as i said above they film several shows in a day and often months before they are _iewed on chanel 4 |

One of those programmes I watched when i was off sick for eight weeks, along with Maury, To Buy or Not to Buy, Heir Hunters etc...can't stand any of them now!  |

i go to casinos and gamble not for the money anymore but the buzz when your number cums in and wot a buzz when the whole casino turns around and says wow.
so no deal for me i would go all the way. there about a million people watching what a buzz if i went all the way. wow wow. |

The best quote I have heard about the show was from my mother
"It's wonderful, you don't have to be intelligent to win some money unlike those boring quiz shows" Sums the show up really.
On a plus point it is a wonderful example of how TV can stretch a 2-3 minute activity into a full hour of "entertainment".
In short .... annoys the fuck out of me |

the woman who is currently playing it has to be the sweetest lil old lady ever.. she's thrilled she has just paid for her funeral and with the offers she's getting the banker has added the value of her coffin... thats organization |
