EU Referendum Straw Poll

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

So the poll is open.

Fabsters can register a vote and the ballot paper says

Remain or Out

Respond with your vote no opinions (lots of other threads for that) or narrative but a vote of either Remain (if you want to stay in the EU) or Out if your preference is to leave.

The poll closes at 2230.

Not quite.

11 out

4 undecided/not committed

That's over 61% of votes cast to this point in favour of leaving.

We've had 4 of these EU straw poll threads here in the past year that I can remember.

Leave has won 3 of them.

Remain only won 1.

Polling closed at 10:30pm but others are still posting so I'm OUT.

Every straw poll we have seen, so far, or our friends in business have conducted amongst their clients, has had the 'Out' campaign ahead by around a 2:1 majority. So wondering as to how the official polls, which got the last election disastrously wrong, have them almost neck-and-neck.

I have a sneaky feeling it'll be a bit like the Scottish vote, with the vitriol of some of the outers masking the true picture.

That said, it's a shame so many of the outers get called ''racist", so I guess there's errors on both sides.

Either way it looks like the OP is permanently out

Mr ddc

I know a number of Brexiteers that are definatly not Racist nor right wing. Wrong on this issue but not for those reasons.

A lot of the outters are sadly zenophobic gingoistic and proffiteering ( they have a plan to make money out of exit dont be in any daubt). The Tory Right always follow thier own interests and this is no different.

Its a shame for those Brexiteers that are not like that, that their campaign is lead by these sort.

But then again the IN campaign is being lead by the PM. So both sides have thier cross to bare!
