Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
Today it was Dunelm.
I'd never heard of it before a thread where he and Pet mentioned it (and Cute n Sassy mentioned Trago Mills).
Well, £300+ later... Bussy, you have a lot to answer for.

"Is it not nationwide then? You can't beat a bit of Dunhelm "
I first noticed them down here about three years ago. They may have been here before but they all seem to be on retail parks on major roads that I don't go to.
I will have to avoid them though as I have a bit of a bed linen addiction.

"I love a day out to Dunhelm Mill. I could wander round there for ages.
Ooo, it didn't have an 'h' or a 'Mill'. Maybe they are different places. Off to the Google I go..."
One close by near Perivale. Quite big, too. |

I've driven past that one.
The Google says no 'h' and the 'Mill' is not always used and they have 150 shops and the Pausa coffee shop in 40 of them.

"We've had one for years. I think it dropped the Mill a while back. Love that shop! Cracking fake flowers as well."
I bought blinds and curtains and furniture. I didn't dare look at anything else after that or I might have broken the piggy bank.

It was only last Saturday that I was discussing with a fellow forumite the fact that we'd never met.
You bring the scatter cushions, I'll bring the crumpet bread ... |

"The other thing Bussy introduced me to was crumpet bread from Greenhalgh's Bakery.
I've never met Bussy but I now take all his recommendations very seriously.
"
Maybe we should have another Jaydees social and invite Bussy and his fella |

"He introduced me to Slatterys X
"
It's got daft now
In March, I tried to book a table for 6 on a Saturday afternoon in May
I was told the earliest availability they had was July for a table of that size at weekend
4 months for cake |

I would to be sure
They do keep a few tables for people just turning up but there is normally a wait and the more there are of you ...
If you are in that general area, Nutters Restaurant also does lovely afternoon tea (and even better has a crap mobile signal) so you can indulge in peace |

Just reading through this thread, I have essentially become a middle aged woman ... talking about home interior shops, afternoon teas and taking young men in hand
I think, these days, I warrant free club entry at least |

Bussy, seriously, meeting you and Pet at somewhere called Nutters would be totally appropriate. |

I haven't been to the Wembley one in years. I remember when it opened. We were all really excited and you used to have to queue to get in. How sad is that? |
