Do your research and buy off one of the trusted sites. Otherwise you are possibly going to get ripped off

Unless you're looking to buy a kidney on the black market you're better off with real currency, I'd think.

I've bought bitcoins before, successfully...

It's quite difficult to get your head round and once you do meet a vendor, you will probably have to show ID?...

I think I used localbitcoins website, but was quite some time ago, so a) might have got the name wrong and b) might not be there anymore ?

Just out of interest, what are you wanting to buy? You can tell us, we have no secrets here.. Lol

I don't know why, people have made insane profits from the boom they had. I read of someone that ordered a pizza using bitcoins when they were fairly new, like 2010, and now it would be worth millions of pounds

What I suggest is drawing a comparison between the amount of bitcoin winners and bitcoin losers and I'll be interested to hear your conclusion ......

It one of the poorest investment possible

You enjoy your cold hard cash with the inflation rate being higher than the interest rate, the longer you hold that cash the less value it has!

Good luck. You're gonna need it

I don't have a trading desk, I got a computer desk and some shelves, is that any good?

Or I could knock one up I suppose, I got some spare MDF, trouble is I don't really have anywhere to put it, I could squeeze it into the spare room if I move some stuff around.... does it have to have drawers?

I use local bitcoins, bank transfer generally. Just make sure they have lots of transactions and a good rating.

Even if you require it to still be anon you can use coin mixing services like helix light etc.

Remember when buying if you need a certain amount , you need to include the fee for transferring between wallets and mixing charges.

I recently spent £60.00 and after local Bitcoin commission , transfer fees and mixing charges I ended up with about £46.00.

yes been looking at helix .

you doloose a fair bit but theres not really any alternatives for someone like me thats quite new to it all . I bought £120 worth last week .. coinbase took 4% i think then eruthium took a bit when i passed it thru them .. then the Market took a bit more when i put it into my account..i think it was about £10 lost in charges in all .. but i dont make as im purchasing at a very very good price so its just something you have to factor in .. Gdax seems to be very cheap tho u dont seem to be able to buy with a uk based bank account atm ..
