That's the sort of thing I'm after.
My staple is always romaine lettuce, spinach, banana, frozen mango, cherries and blueberries. I need a more varied diet. |

"Is this some kinda health food thing?"
Yes Joe. It's a kinda health food thing.
Actually it's for grown ups who don't do vegetables and need to go back to the stage where they blend their food to make baby food (also known as a green smoothie). That's why I have mine. |

I'm guessing whey protein is dairy? I struggle with protein intake though, I wonder if a non-dairy, non-rank tasting one exists? |

"Hi guys
Minnie is after getting one of these
For they help with weight loss or just an easier way of getting fruit and veg into your diet?"
I'm using mine for both. I start each day with one big blender cup rather than cereal or toast. Generally keeps me going til evening meal.

Fruit wise I use:
Banana / mixed frozen berries (Sainsburys basics) & spinach.
I was using more varied fruit but it was getting expensive. An avocado makes a good substitute for a banana but can turn a little brown.
Soup wise, a really easy / tasty recipe is roasted butternut squash, lightly fried off onions & garlic (I use at least 3 cloves) veggie stock & a generous tbsp of curry powder / garam masala ~ when cooled blitz to a smooth consistency. |

"Hi guys

It contains the same amount of calories as unblended foods. I personally find it an ultra quick convenient snack that's incredibly healthy. So I grab that instead of crisps or chocolate. It does depend what you put in it though. I fill the cup with at least half lettuce/spinach so the calories aren't anywhere near as high as a pure fruit smoothie. |

Thankyou
I am leaning towards getting one as we both need to eat better and trim down a bit |

New one I made today which RAWKS!
2 sticks celery
2 carrots
8 baby toms
Kale
Spinach
Rocket
1/4 cucumber
Fill the gaps with orange and apple juice
Salt n pepper, loads of pepper.
Ice
The apple and orange balances the slight bitterness you get with veg blends. |

"Why don't you just use the recipes the booklet gives when you buy one?"
I'd rather get recommendations instead of buying stuff in based on their booklet just for it to taste completely rank?

"Did I mention ginger? Just a little to taste
I've been meaning to do this, but I'm not sure what it goes with?"
If you read my original posts, add a little ginger to taste but be careful, it can be overpowering |

Hemp protein isolate.
It's not cheap, but it's very good. |

"I'm considering getting one as well as my juicer.
What are the benefits of rhe nutrition bullet over a juicer?"
As far as I'm aware, the only difference is the bullet retains fibre, whereas the juicer doesn't. |
