I saw Frances last week.
She was stunning. 8/10, her voice was gorgeous, she was cute as hell on stage but because she's new she doesn't have many sings so it was a bit short. |

Muse at The O2 with Ms G a month ago - absolutely awesome show as ever - what's more we were only one away from the barrier so had a great view. Only gutted we didn't see another date on the tour now - fingers crossed for a lottery win so we can catch hem in Europe, or failing that winning the comp I entered recently for Glasto tickets so we could see them.

Mine was Dead Kennedys. I've been poorly ever since and don't have the energy to go to gigs anymore. I've seen concerts (mainly St. Martin-in-the-Fields cos it's consistent in productions). |

Eldorado. They are from Madrid, but I first saw them in a bar in Calella nr Barcelona 3 yrs ago. I saw them again at a pub in Stoke a couple of yrs ago and I was wearing a T-shirt from the bar that I saw them in in Spain. The lead singer, Jesus Trujillo recognised me and said "Oh no, not you again!" The drummer is a nutter as well. We had another good night and got rather d*unk again

The Cockney Rejects @ The 100 Club.
The original bassist has just returned so it was a bit of a reunion night.
7/10 for the performance 10/10 for the night out. |

Also got my ticket for the next Levs tour (and Ferocious Dog - who are awesome!) Garbage coming up soon too. Got to love Rock City! Saw Sisters of Mercy last time and they were hugely better than I thought they were going to be |

I'm not sure which was the most recent, either Beans on Toast in Islington which was 6/10 at best as he was too pissed or Frank Turner at Ally Pally which was 10/10.
Next one is The Wonder Stuff and Skinny Lister which should be fun.
Unfortunately since I've been living alone I'm generally too skint to do many gigs which is taking some adjusting too after a lifetime of gig going |

Seen loads of bands over the years. In recent(ish) times, Pendulum at Nottingham Arena was pretty good. Evanescence too. NMA & Levs loads of times. The Pretty Reckless was... interesting. Funniest gig was The Beards at the Rescue Rooms. Those guys know their beards (if not much else). Well worth a Google. |
